Spectra-Nova's CS Series Solar Cell Sorter is our industrial version of the CT Series Cell Tester. It is capable of characterizing and sorting solar cell against critical parameters like conversion efficiency, Isc, Voc, Imax, Vmax, Pmax, FF, Rsh. The CS Series Solar Cell Sorter is design with industrial environment in mind.
These are a few of the system features:
- sorting in as much as 15 different bins
- flexible test configurations for a variety of solar cell technologies: crystalline, thin film, dye-sensitized and organic solar cells which will accept pulsed light. Even small modules testing is possible
- measurement at standard irradiation of 1000 W/sqm and standard temperature of 25oC
- lamp source: Single flash gas discharge or multiple flash
- Class A and B solar simulations are available
- testing chuck with thermoelectric temperature control
- fast testing ( less than 1 seconde)
- fully automated process or manual loading/unloading with provision left for automation upgrade
- minimal cell damage or breakage
Technology:
CS Series Solar Cell Sorters Class A and Class B are based on internationally recognized solar simulation technology usingreliable single/multiple Xenon light pulses (continuous light is possible if pulsed light is not acceptable). Air Mass 1.5G irradiation is the standard to which our equipment operates.
